This might help.

You are right, I never seen such a SB before, too. What the heck is this USB connector supposed to be doing?

Leads to a 404 Not Found I'm afraid. Anyone know what this is?

Works for me but beware. It's a proprietary driver installer = Malware.

The MVP4 board arrived but suffice to say I am not crazy about replacing my Tyan 430TX with this..

The attachment 674C418C-976F-40C0-8BBB-3D7350538480.jpeg is no longer available

Any ideas if this can be fixed? Or should I just lay it down in a case and screw it on and let it flex as much as it will?

I wonder if it actually works 🤣 (Dont mind me laughing this was actually more expensive for me than I would have liked..

It might be fine once it's all secured down to a case.

Did you have it near a new Apple iPad Pro? I hear bendgate can be contagious. 🤣

Looks completely fine to me. You should see the ALR 6x6 mobo I have. It is long and wide and flexes easily so you have to be careful how you store it if not mounted to a case. The physics may change in a black hole mind you.

So..i had to get some new coolers for these Dual Athlon MP 2000+

IMG_20190204_232050_zpsutfhjqhz.jpg

The original coolers were way too loud, and not in the best shape.

Well, since i already had my CoolerMaster AERO 7+ from 2003 still kicking around, the logical thing to do was to get another.
I was able to get a new old stock from ebay and there it is! (BTW, nevermind the ugly wire spaghetti mess, it's temporary. Just for testing purposes.)

I was able to buy a Tyan s1571 motherboard with 200MHz MMX processor. I think there isn't much anything better for a Pentium (MMX) project in existence. 😀

One day i will take my Pentium machine completely apart and make a post or record a video about the whole computer and each component in it...

"640K ought to be enough for anybody." - And i intend to get every last bit out of it even after loading every damn driver!

Here you go - that should do it.

And it looks like an interesting card - unusual outputs AND the USB OUT which is very odd.

I found and bought one of these really cheap. And still brand new, not second hand.

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.

[awesome dual athlon system]

That's a lovely system and I like the cooling solution - a friend had something similar on his Athlon PC - very loud though aren't they?

I think it's a bit of a shame the power supply is also period correct, don't Q-tech have a really bad reputation? like that 500w value is max, and average load is lower?

Finally got around to cleaning and photographing it, so here is my first SS7 motherboard, and the CPU it came with:

TMC-MI5-VP4.jpg AMD-K6-2-350-AFR.jpg

And the aforementioned warp:

TMC-MI5-VP4-Warp.jpg

No idea how people store these things to cause such bends 😕 😢 Hopefully it still works, we will see.

Also agreed on purchasing another motherboard I've been after for quite some time now, I suppose it really pours when it rains. I will post photos once I have it on hand and cleaned.

I got a really good deal on one of those 286 LCD Portable clones. It won't ship until Friday but I'm excited to see what it can do, or rather, whether it works at all.

It would be really cool to swap the lcd screen for one of those VGA lcd panels. At least, if the screen compartment could fit a panel and the controller board could go somewhere in that case...

I see multiple reasons, but I assume it's the Sierra Aria sound card.

That said, the VLB (?) card next to it looks really interesting too

My guess also. I think the 'VLB card' are an ISA Diamond videocard and an unknown AGP card overlapping.
