You shouldn't be attempting to connect directly through that but through one of the connectors at the end of the splitter cable. Try both connectors because one will be for primary display and the other will be for secondary.

Wow, I had a Matrox G550 with the exact same connector! After having had it laying around for over 5 years, I recently gave it away...

That's not a P&D connector btw.
You could search Ebay for suitable adapters. It's how I found the ones fitting the V3 TV's.
