You're saying I need to pull the CD-ROM drive, and there will be information printed on the case underneath?

May be easier to pull the mobo.

Get us some high res shots of front and back, so the next guy can have the info also 😀

I wasn’t able to find your mobo on ultimate retro so we can make a page for it and document all the settings.

Man, pulling the motherboard would be a gigantic pain in the ass. Same with getting to its back side. It would be way easier to pull the cdrom

Your show 😀 your call. Fingers crossed!

No need for a pull. Compaq UZI motherboard as used in these models: Presario 5100 Series - 5184 US, 5184 US, 5184 LTNA, 5184 BRZL, 5184 US, 5184 LTNA, 5185; Presario Desktop PC 5000 Series - 5070 (US), 5070 (US), 5070 (LTNA), 5070 (BRZL), 5070 (CA), 5070 (LTNA), 5070 (US), 5070 (US), 5070 (LTNA), 5070 (BRZL), 5070 (US), 5070 (LTNA); Presario 5100 CTO series.

Specified as maximum K6-2 380 capable by Compaq. The OEM is said to be AZT of which I have found NO info so far. Odd one out, I'm not sure if I'll find anything more at HP/Compaq, archived or not .

Page in UR: https://www.ultimateretro.net/en/motherboards/10819

That metal shroud over the game/audio ports is something I have NEVER seen on any other board. If someone knows of another board with THAT we might find an actual maker. Until then, I say AZtech based on a rumour.

I had a K6-2 533 that I bought to use to build a system for a friend back in 2002, and it was one of the worst chips ever when it came to overclocking. I had to give it a significant voltage boost to run at 550!

Hello, new here. I was googling around for something about my PC & found this thread, due to the google search keyword of "5070", which made a hit here. I've had a Presario 5070 for a long time now, nearly 20 years, which I acquired from a friend. At that time I got it, around 2003, I tested installs of Windows 98se & also XP on it, which both worked. Of course, I got malware on it once I dialed up internet, heh, but it was just a test installation. But I too wanted to try to increase the cpu frequency, back around 2003. Or maybe it was 2006. The cpu speed instructions & jumper settings were somewhat confusing that I even mapped out the jumper settings like a Boolean table. There were many holes in the table that did not show jumpers, thus possibly the undocumented settings. I have kept that "boolean" table somewhere. Anyway, that was as far as I got. I also got hung up on the part where I wanted to switch from its original AT power supply to ATX, but the cables were too short, or something like that, I've since forgotten. Since then I abandoned that project nearly 2 decades ago, but I still have the machine somewhere in storage & wanted to possibly try at it again. I have many other PC projects I want to do & this is one of them. Well, don't want to make this reply any longer, but hopefully all these jumpers shown in this thread might also apply to me.
