That sleek thing would fit nicely in the kitchen! 🤣

Just finally cleaned this thing up, pulled it out of the trash and it seems to work perfectly, only has RGB and composite in and for some weird reason has a monochrome green option even though it's a colour monitor. 🤣

This was done a few days ago, but only got to upload now. Still needs work, but it is close to finished (at least the front is).

Seeing this makes me think how cool it would be to have a decent 3d printer and how having missing plastic parts would be a thing of the past.

My builds!
The FireStarter 2.0 - The wooden K5
The Underdog - The budget K6
The Voodoo powerhouse - The power-hungry K7
The troll PC - The Socket 423 Pentium 4

Why are there wheels on the top? 😀

Removed them while cleaning the case's exterior

Nice Philips CRT, the mono button was common on these. Perfect screen for CGA/C128/Amiga etc.

Programmed my Lattice GAL's for tyher CM/S / GameBlaster upgrade of my 1350B sound blaster. The NatSemi ones I had would not verify, but these lattice ones seem to be no issue. Now its just down to testing it tomorrow! and hope my SA1099P's are ok

Playing around with the S3 Savage4 and Savage 2000 cards 😀

Swaaye has left excellent documentation on this forum, including all the files to get S3 MeTal support going in Unreal Gold as well as checking out the demo maps with S3TC action:

Any idea how do 8MB Savage4's fare when it comes to high-res textures? Is there a noticeable benefit to getting one with more memory? I'm interested in getting one myself for Unreal/Unreal Tournament, but the ones with more memory seem to be going for at least twice as much.

EDIT: Never mind, found a 32MB one for cheap 😀

Mine have 32 MB. Unreal is playable on the Savage4, but only just IMO. The Savage 2000 is much more capable.

That's the most realistic 3D model of a classic PC i've ever seen! Good Job! You fooled me. 😊

^That's weird though, if you plan on 3D printing or replicating a brand new item... I mean it's not just for vintage visualization. At least that's what I read from Orinoko's intention.
