I'm from Belgium, I'm not a soundfont expert or musician, but I'm a big fan of good old classic games and will have the time to test and document whatever I find out about your prototype.
I'm used to debug systems (old and/or new) The new card sounds amazing, and I think I'm glad I missed the previous card!

Serious suggestions.

Support fully GM2, XG, and GS.

Include both GS and XG compatible bank mappings. swap when you recieve the appropriate sysex reset.

The basic xg level 1 bank is 4 megs. compressed, and include dwith syxg50 soft synths.
and of course windows comes with a sc-55 dls file. so simply make something that can import both of them. 😀

Support all controllers, rpn, nrpn, and sysex of sound canvas and yamaha xg synths.

I was using an ESS AudioDrive the other day, and this card, just like the Audician 32 Plus, swaps L and R of the wavetable header. Our resident sound card expert James-F has even come up with a mod for the Audician 32 Plus!

So I thought, man, wouldn't it be awesome if the DreamBlaster had an option to configure L and R?

If Mr.Dreamblaster can freely add features using the development software, this is well beyond my expectations.
But he will have to make it convenient to the end-user to load some soundfonts and create banks themselves, looks like that's what's going on behind the blur.
I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks...

Dropping 100 euros on a midi daughterborad is already more than the price of a SC-55 on ebay, it has to be at least that good (IMO).

Looks like Serge might have some digital secret sauce which isn't ready for prime time yet!
