Hi, I purchased this sd card to IDE adapter: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006307922050.html
In the description it says this: "This card supports PIO, Multi-word DMA and Ultra DMA Host data transfer modes"
Is this motherboard: DFI CA64-TC. I have DMA mode on AUTO in bios (only options are auto or disable). I'm using a pentium 3 tualatin 1400S
When installing windows 95, all works, until I install the drivers for the motherboard (VIA 4in1 Chipset Driver downloaded from https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/dfi-ca64-tc#driver). When I activate DMA on Windows 95, after installing drivers, windows 95 gets corrupted and forces me to reinstall the OS.
These adapters are not compatible with DMA? only with PIO? That whould be a very huge issue, I have random freezes when copying data or executing sofware that uses hard drive, and I think those freezes are caused by PIO mode.
Maybe it's an issue with the drivers?
Thank you.
