I have a Compaq Deskpro 286 that I'm hopping to get working again.

I got it a few years ago and it booted up fine but when I powered it on recently it blew a tantalum on the Compaq Winchester Floppy Controller (It caught fire)

I'm not sure if it just decided to die the or if something surged.
I hope I can just de-solder it and replace it but I'm not sure what the specs for it are as I can't read it.

I'm also concerned about the reliability of it's PSU but I don't know what to do about it as it uses an odd connector.
Looks like a thick ribbon cable.

Any advice would be appreciated.
