I’ve acquired two Compaq Portable II computers. I have so far been able to strip them down and clean them up. Looking over the power supplies I’ve found several burnt tantalum capacitors. I need to replace them but I can’t read the values. I found a good picture online of the values for the power supply, but not the rest of the board. Is there anyone with information for what the values are?
Also, is there a source you’ve found for how to fix up the floppy drive? I know the basics, but I haven’t seen a drive like this before.
Any help would be appreciated!
