I recently got an XT-CF lite 4.1 card (https://github.com/skiselev/xt-cf-lite-v4) for an Amstrad I have been trying to put an OS on for almost 4 years now... I guess I can't give up.
The card apparently works with the bios of the old owner.

I have been trying to manually put ms-dos 3.2 on the CF but the amstrad can't boot from it either it doesn't detect a boot partition or it says it's the wrong disk. I can't really install it from a floppy because the floopy disk drive either can't read the disks or is malfunctioning, I was able to make it boot a system disk from ebay but it stopped working when I tried to put the drive back in its metal holding, I am also looking to buy another floppy just to check.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I understand exactly the problem.
Is it creating a bootable CF on a different machine and then using on the Amstrad, or the XT-CF doesn't work with it? Or you don't know which of the two?
If it's the XT-CF and since you mentioned a previous owner, I'd start by making sure that the BIOS is configured for an XT.
