That's a really great haul and that sounds like a winner of a seller as well. I hope all the parts work for you.

Bought and collected a nice DELL 2001FP monitor and added an AX510 soundbar that had been lying around.
Works really nice with my old DOS machines 😀

DOS gaming with a DELL 2001FP
File license
GPL-2.0-or-later

PS: just noticed that the manufacturing date is "February 2006" so it is probably no good for Amiga/C64, but it does work very good for my DOS machines.

Building my own PCs since 1991 - for my retro builds it's "no CF-disks, no Floppy emulators, no modern cases etc.", only the real and authentic stuff whenever possible.

I just had the opposite - I ordered a PCI S3 Trio and just received an AGP GeForce MX2 🙁

And you'll waste time on top of that, trying to explain that "no, they're not the same thing" in order to get refunded. 🙁

Nice u found 2 of the most powerful AGP cards.. Specially the HIS is great card best 3850 AGP one by far. Just edit the fan profile, as the stock one is retarded and does spin the fan to like 10% and when the card is under heavy load it spins to up like 20-30% and the card toast itself very dumb of them to make that fan profile so low... Once the BIOS is edited the card is great..

I made also custom bridge cooler from dead mobo chipset..

Well this shots are from Rev 1, later on i made Rev 2 with 3 rubber supports, as the one on the pictures was ok and working, but did not have proper support, and if i grab the card did fall when pressed on the side of the heatsink, that is in the air...

How is ur custom cooling is it anny better then mine ?

Nice! The older versions of that one are perfect for Amiga and C64. With all the different input connections and the soundbar that's a great versatile retro-monitor. Only minor drawback is that the panel doesn't display 70Hz.

Could you please show some pics of the backside of the 2 AGP cards so I can see the bridge chip mod?
I'm especially interested in the Club3D one as I also have this card 🙂

Received a Dell UltraSharp FP2000.... In a really bad shipping box.
Almost no protection and the box was broken open... and the power supply was missing.

The original power supply delivers 20v and 3.5A, so I decided to adapt a 65W power supply from Lenovo.

@Nylan, i LOVE the sh*tty computer speakers you have! Absolute beauties in their own sense.
Btw, aren't they reversed? Usually speaker with knobs is the right side speaker...

Looks like old component prices have come back down. A voodoo 5500 just sold on eBay with 1 bid for $349. For that price it's almost worth it. I already have one, but for somebody looking for one who doesn't want to pay north of $600 as I've seen some sell for.

Motherboard CZ and i did read in another place that that board support Tualatin, maybe they are wrong..

There was Voodoo 5 5500 AGP localy for 125 euro, but there was 3 problems with that AD...
The seller was idiot that did not have phone number, and he did not even repply to my message FK him, the card was not ONLY with dust but was UNtested...
Sure the card is rare and cheap by today standarts but i refuse to pay arm and leg to idiots that dont even bother to clean and test the damn thing..
If was tested and working id get it even for 220 euro no problem.. But paying for potential scrap no thanks...

If the cost of living and inflation are as bad everywhere else as here in the UK, there can't be many people left who can afford recent prices on much.

I reckon most of us has a par of similar speakers in our history =)

Now I wanna find a pair somewhat crusty and gut them, reinforce with some mesh and epoxy and then find some super high quality broadband speaker that just barely fits.

This is a thin client with an ISA/PCI riser slot, a 3.5" floppy drive and a 44-pin IDE connector (originally it was for a Compact flash adapter that was accessible on the back.

Not going to divulge the brand/model until after I have a chance to actually do some testing and probably post a YouTube video.

I have 2 different risers that will fit it, but only one puts the cards above the thin client.

Feel free to guess the brand/model 😀

I will say that there are 0 pictures that I could find of this doing a Google search. The manual is available though.

Incorrect guesses so far:
Compaq/HP
Siemens/Nixdorf
Wyse or a Kontron
Digital
Flytech Technology NC4-B62

Correct guess by pancakepuppy:
Netier NetXpress XL-1000
