This being said the seller did issue a full refund fairly quickly, so I'll probably still leave positive feedback. I might try to recap this piece of shit at some point, I need to order caps for a 6800GT I've had for years anyways (I hate ordering caps, such a pain)

This is electronics maintenance that I don't think most folks could / would want to do for the price points they're selling at. Eventually everything's gonna be broken like this if it's not cared for / repaired right and the numbers will keep dwindling, more so for cards that were run fairly hard in their lifetime e.g. GF6800 & Radeon 9700/9800. Just, personally I don't think an obvious fault like that is that bad. Much better that than a bad BGA RAM chip, although that could be a resulting fault from running with ruined capacitors.

For bad sellers though - I bought a job lot of old electronics with a mix of 70s PCBs, a PC Chips M919 and a Kapok 6200 laptop's mainboard, the seller only sent me the 70s PCBs, ergh, not so useful to me.

I recently snapped up this Montego II Quadzilla (Vortex 2) still sealed. The wrap is pretty loose, though. I'm curious to see all that's inside, but I don't know if I'll open it.

I don't expect them to repair it, I expect them to either not sell it or sell it at a price that reflects the fact it doesn't work (10-25 percent of working value) and clearly state it as such. Its scummy and lazy to sell stuff you haven't tested as working. There is zero excuse for it. I should go back to my old policy of always leaving negative feedback for sellers that do this.

Nah thats not right, happens from time to time. I own a myself bought PS One and a PS2 original Sealed in a Box never Opened i bought them for the Idea
of Price Raising back then. They are both well Stored, but the PSX Package has chipped Corners and is somehow...well not as good looking as it should.
Overtime the Cardboard get "Structure Failures" of the Weight and the Point Keeping it up..It Takes Years to happen but it happens. You could
maybe avoid it by turning the package evry 1 or half year and flip it..but who does that?

It's understandable to suggest since I wasn't clear with my wording.

It's original, the wrap is loose because it has a T-split and rip at the entire seam of the bottom, and the entire length of the box has somewhere between minor and middling concave crush damage. It has the same consistency as the wrap of the box on the right and the corners are tight. It's because of the size of the split and the big chunk missing off of the front which makes me think I might as well open it. Then I can straighten out the box (crushed boxes bother me to no end...)

Finally found a boxed rampat! Plus that might go into a Tandy 1000TL/2

Mine has a different lay-out but no heatsinks (or someone removed them…). The part number is ICUVGA-GW803N whereas Artex’ card doesn’t have the N-suffix. So perhaps the Gainward card was available with both PCB designs.

Socket 940 based consumer/prosumer boards are a bit rare. You can use it with an Opteron and the FX-51.

Always nice to see a 3DO Blaster, I really like the whole concept of "run actual console hardware in your PC". Too bad it never really took off.

I wonder how it would have performed commercially if they bundled at least one really good game in the package. SSF2T for the 3DO is an amazing port, and at the time it would have been a "killer app" to justify the high price of the product.

Lol the Creative 3DO Blaster, that shit is expensive AF... Last time i saw one with box did cost up to 1000$.... But guess u got urs for this 600$ price..

I got the same Voodoo Rush some months ago, looks very nice (did think it may have more memory, but seems nah), the oriignal box is for sure ugly, at least the card itself looks very nice..
BTW dont use imageshack, is crap site, imgur is better, but anyway i prefer to upload everything to the forum directly, that nothing will ever dissapear..
