It's not luckybob, it's another person who now has the other card (one in the box) and he isn't going to sell.

wow, is the PAS that pricey? I don't really see a reason for it being in the same range as the lapc-i/imfc , was it sold in limited quantity or something?

I don't know about limited quantity. I only saw PAS twice for sale (ebay auctions from €1/$1price) and bought both, first for €281 and second for $355. With shipping to Russia, it was $400-450 each.

^ It just seems to much IMHO for a card that rivaled the SB16. Anyways, wish I had a stock of them to sell 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

That card was a rival for SB 2.0. Even SB Pro CT1330 sales began few months after PAS release.

If only I had a programming guide for it, I might try and give birth to a General MIDI compatible driver, provided there are enough technical capabilities and someone makes a set of GM patches.

"lchiocca" originally posted a scan of the IMFC Technical Reference back in 2008. His link is dead, but you can grab it from my website:

The "dongle" being referred to is the MIDI connector box, by-the-way. I happen to have an extra, in case you didn't get one as part of the trade...

Thanks for the reference, I will look into it.

About the MCB, there was only one and the seller kept it to himself. Thus, I would gladly grab a MCB from you on some terms.

I'd go with STB based on the link archsan gave. Interesting to see that the two cards use different memory chips.

Just had a look at the back of the card and yes it says STB Systems Inc 😀

You know we are speaking of same person. I wrote you previously, you gave me his name and then I contacted him about the IMFC.

"My understanding is there is only one MIDI breakout box. If so that will stay with me along with one card." - that's what he said.

forgive me, Its hard to keep people's names straight. Anyway, I know for a fact he got 2. one was in the box, the other loose with the system. that said, there is no electronics in the box itself. its just a db-9 to 3x din5 connector.

honestly thats a dick move. Its not my place to call him out, there is a chance that somehow he just LOST it. Although, I would think he would just admit to that instead... Who knows.
