20€ shipped 😀
Most interesting parts:
3x5.25" Floppies
Mitsubishi MR 535-M00 MFM 42 MB - not spinning, but looking at the corrosion it may need some lubrication...
Chinon CDS-525l, 1994

That little police car computer is so damn cool. If I even happen to run a fallout theme park I know what to look for!
I myself finally fallen for the temptation and placed an order at everybody favorite belgiam online shop around here 😀 So much stuff to play around with now.
I feel all funny inside with joy whenever people buy something from Serdaco, everything I bought from him has been fantastic. I have my eyes on an X2 myself (S2 no longer cuts it after being spoiled by the X3M) just finding it hard to justify the double dip in a wavetable now that there's a toddler running around the house 😀

Not necessarily today, but never shared (note: these are not for sale):
New old stock from 2006. Can be bought on ebay.nl from some medical equipment seller. Interestingly these were originally sold to the Dutch Department of Justice but never used.
4MB version 100% complete
Refurbished or new old stock, not sure. This wasn't a bargain, but it's so rare nowadays that I just took my chance. I'll probably never find one this nice again.
GeForce 6200 with Japanese caps. Just gotta have one! Seems to be a rare version.
New old stock
Last but not least..
Very nice Asus P5A rev. 1.06 ATX (yes I know, not 1.04, but it's not important for me).

Ooh yes, beautful stuff indeed.
Out of interest: on my MCE2VGA the numbering of the dipswitches was exactly reversed between documentation and device (i.e. 1234 instead of 4321). Is that the case on yours too?

Why would you prefer the rev. 1.04 (E-stepping Aladdin V) over the 1.06 (G-stepping)?
It's known the P5A has a bug in the 1.06 that causes havoc with K6Plus CPUs, but there's a simple fix for that. With the fix in place I'd consider the 1.06 superior in every way - particularly if you use a K6-2 without integrated L2.
I'd mildly prefer the 1.06 tbh, then again, I'm happy enough with my 1.04 not to seriously want to make an effort to find a 1.06.
Got this beauty today… It's suprisingly small.

What's mounted to the daughterboard?
The Vendex Turbo-888-XT is on its way from an ebay seller. They took an offer after I saw the damage from the battery. I have been looking for a project that will require work. This seems to be it. Hopefully the damage is not too bad and I can bring it to life.

Wow! Never seen anything like it! I don't know how you find this stuff.
Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

I don't really prefer the revision 1.04. I have read about that mod on the 1.06 board, but I'm not going to do that. For me it doesn't matter because I'm not one of the many out here who wants to build a super fast K6-II+/III+ multi purpose SS7 system. My plan is to use the P5A for a different setup, I'm not sure yet for what, I have so many parts to choose from, the choice is not made yet, I only know that it's going to be different and that I'm going to use my brand new Sharkoon window case with LED's for it 😊

This time finding wasn't hard... but I had to sell a kidney to buy it 😁

yeah I heard something about simcity supporting this thing.
How will I notice this?
time passes quicker.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Yes, mine is reversed as well. Do you know if DIP1 is now DIP4 or is what the manual calls DIP1 still DIP1 just in the wrong location?

Would you be so kind to maybe provide the exact name of the ebay listing so I can check out it aswell? I've checked every Matrox Millenium on ebay.nl and couldn't find it.

He was referring to the monitors, not the Matrox card.

With me, 4 is really 1, so switches from MDA/Hercules to CGA/EGA.
