What's the second Reset button do?
Reset the system.

Of course, as always, I'm open to correction...😉
When I first saw a computer with two RESET buttons, I laughed really hard...
"I guess this computer hangs very often" 😁
Nie tylko, jak widzicie, w tym trudność, że nie zdołacie wejść na moją górę, lecz i w tym, że ja do was cały zejść nie mogę, gdyż schodząc, gubię po drodze to, co miałem donieść.

Only if you install Windows.................Well OS/2 can too to be truthful.
Actually saves having to press the on off twice. Handy for those times when you neaded that special config only a specially set up boot floppy can provide or booting another Dos version if you need to.

So if the second Reset button resets the computer, what does the first one do?
Are they both wired up to the same thing.. so if one reset button stops working, you can use the other one?

That'll be interesting, or maybe 1 is for resetting the computer and the other for the turbo display to reset to defaults and change the turbo display? Wild guess.

Dammit, i was wondering what you are talking about. I just now "saw" two reset buttons... 😁
Well they are put together like this and on the motherboard.
edit: never seen that. But i never had two resetbuttons and this is my first socket3 + pci board that small.

Soooo... does that mean you have to press them both at the same time to do a reset?
failsafe to make sure you really meant to reset and not Turbo
This bunch of network cards...
Nothing too interesting maybe beside the cabletron card - why does it have two AMD PCNet ISA+ chips and 4 LEDs? Also no BNC connector (but it has soldering fields for AUI connector which is not populated) and PLCC socket for bootrom... it has to be fairly recent card...
I havn't seen a card like this until now... Also 2 IBM FRUs which are always welcome.
No idea if they work...
New items (October/November 2022) -> My Items for Sale
The E2219 card should have LEDs for TX, RX, Collision, and Link. No idea why they have two ICs on a single interface board if they could just leave it unpopulated. Pretty sure the AMD PCNet solution was single chip.
All hail the Great Capacitor Brand Finder
Bought these bad girls today for my maxed out Nx586 rebuild.
Couple off 3dfx Voodoo 2 Gainward Dragon 3000 12MB 110Mhz Ram for SLi 1024x768 gaming!
And of course need that happy badge of 3DFX just bought that too, to put the icing on the cake.
My Build Log : NexGen NX586 PF110 PCI Motherboard, Video card post issues
Nice! I have been shopping for Voodoo2 12mb for months. I haven't been willing to pay what the seem to go for just yet. Those are a nice set.
I picked up this Packard Bell Legend 486
unfortunately the motherboard needs some repair. The barrel battery corroded some traces on the board and the floppy controller doesn't seem to function properly.
I also got these Kings quest II and III diskettes
and this boxed copy of TMNT
my life runs on X86
I know I overpaid by a big margin for this but what the heck..It is such a cool upgrade for my PS/2 Model 30-286.
I was so frightened when installing this one - what a freakin' sandwich !
You need to opt out from a CR2032 based Dallas chip replacement as this one is a "perfect" fit - no extra space for a larger coin cell beyond the original Dallas dimensions here.
Gives me EMS and ability to load things "high" on a 286 - cool 😎
neat!
quite a bit different than the cpu upgrade card i have for my 25/30.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
Wow I hope the glut of desktop form factors lands near me sometime soon! Well, after my doctors say I can lift more than 5 lbs, actually (major surgery recently).
I'm kind of forming a list of things to get, but also tying that to selling a few things as well, I have a Case Pyramid in my living room.
Mostly I just wanted to say those desktop cases are awesomesauce.
*Too* *many* *things*!
Got myself something of a unicorn (or at least a duckbilled platypus):
Always wondered how awful AdLib emulation via wavetable would sound, guess I'm about to find out 😉

Yeah, they seem to be coupled in serial, making it necessary to press both at the same time to reset ..
Please use the "quote" option if asking questions to what I write - it will really up the chances of me noticing 😀

Are you using the GUS as IDE controller for CF card? Cool! I thought it is ATAPI only...

ATAPI is an additional protocol to IDE. There's no such thing as an ATAPI interface. Even if some soundcards say so, it's IDE.
