It was listed as untested/not working and I got it for a steal. Sadly, it's got one of the "hanging note bug" DSPs.
Even more sadly, it doesn't seem to output anything on the left channel. Silence on left channel might not be the case of dirty jack. It may be dirty jumper block (had the same issue on my SB16 SCSI).
As far as I can remember there are jumpers J1 and J2, and they are feeding the sound directly to the jacks (one is for he right channel, second for the left one).
If this jumpers are oxidized, they might not make contact, and cause the silence on one channel.
Try to clean them first.

Do keep in mind that not all cases use the same standoff height. This was some unexpected problem I once ran into and I didn't even know these came in different heights till I had issues caused by this (I was assembling a new rig) and I put them side by side and saw they were not created equal 😜

Aren't these the threaded screws that go into VGA, serial/parallel port connectors, etc. anyway? Stand-offs for a mainboard are higher and also normally a bit thicker and copper-color. I've never had a case where you could use the ones pictured. (well, you probably can, if you don't mind any cards not going fully into the slots)

I wish all computer screws were just metric... it would be soo much easier to find replacements x3

They are not motherboard standoffs.. 😉

Yes, they are exactly this.

Someone scored a killer Diamond Stealth 64 VRAM VLB (S3 Vision 968) card with box and original floppies yesterday on the bay. I'm hoping to see it pop up in here soon.

Also bought this 120W pico-ATX PSU for quick bench testing of motherboards without having to use AT/ATX PSU.

Seems to be working when using my 12-24V 3A power adaptor I use for my soldering iron. Hopefully, I won't blow anything with it.

Expensive/monstrous Windows 3.x-based capture card, but I'm not sure how useful it is without the software and break-out cables.

Thanks, it's good to know. I usually use Noiseblocker fans because they're just as quiet as Noctua, but I can get them locally with free delivery.

I think CrystalFM (in its non-broken iteration) sounds great, the audio quality of CX4237 is better than most ISA sound cards, and I just happen to like AOpen stuff.

Yes, they are exactly this.

I have a bunch of brass and steel screw in standoff's. Yes they are fatter/wider but not always taller, many are shorter (overall length) than the backpanel cable screw mounts.
Won a bid on a working DFI socket 8 mobo with both a 200/256k and a 200/1Mb p.pro cpu's.

ah nice, my first joystick was the FCS Mark II, I got it in 1996 I think and still have it, but it suffered a bit over the years, the rubber has completely disintegrated.
