This socket 7 board is made by PCChips. It must be one of their later models.

Just received in the mail a sad Schneider EuroPc II. This must be a fetish of mine, my eyes only see pain, but yet in some way this machines are appealing to me. Anyway it is my first "II" variant of the EuroPc.

Oh god it's almost as if these EuroPCs had a special evil kind of leaking Vartas and their motherboard is a Varta-juice magnet. All look the same. Good luck with that, it doesn't look too promising

CT7230 is just MPEG2 decoder (PC-DVD Encore).

CT1350B - that's Sound Blaster 2.0 - you just need OPL2 chip (you can still buy them on eBay) and you are good to go (as long as the card works).

Check out my AmiBay and eBay for ISA and PCI card, 286/386/486 Pentium motherboards and more.

That simple, huh.

Thanks.

Yes ! Because your card has the little socketed Y3014B DAC chip it just needs a Yamaha YM3812 chip in the big socket.
Nice haul on all the vid cards too !

Hate posting a reply and have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. 🤣 Second computer a 286 12Mhz with real IDE drive ! After that came 386, 486, Pentium, P.Pro and everything after....

I bought the Tyan Tiger 100 S1832D Dual Slot1 motherboard. Looks like revision F, it will probably work fine with two P3 850MHz processors.

Hi all!

I've bought this box recently:

Wow what a blast from the past. My elementary school used these for the pre-k through 2nd grade students. They were weird to use but fun when you got used to it.

Ordered an Acorp Slot 1 440BX AT motherboard on ebay a few weeks ago and it came today.

I'm probably going to replace my K6-2 motherboard and CPU with this and a slot 1 P3.

I have never used (or even seen in person) any Acorp products before, I downloaded a pdf manual for this board and it helpfully states this is a SOLT 1 motherboard. 😁

I picked up a junky (but fully working) Pentium 4 (s478) system yesterday for $40 Canadian.

The video card is none other than the fastest AGP card ever made...

An asus P4P800-E DLX is NOT junky! (nice score on the video card as well)

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Ah yes, the SOLT 1 platform. 🧐 Very advanced for its time. Too bad it didn't catch on like the clearly inferior SLOT 1.

Thanks! I think this is the non-E version of the P4P800 Deluxe... it has the 3COM onboard ethernet, and the VIA chip for IDE RAID. The mobo says "REV 2.00" on the PCB and the documentation on the Asus website shows the REV1 board with silver heatsink.

Well, I did the best I could with the image I had. ^.^

Yes, amazing! I couldn't quite figure out the motherboard model number until after I bought it.
