Same here. One of the best sticks that have "pistol" grip. All microswitches and turbo-fire funcktion. The build quality is high. As far as remember, then it is right up there with Wico Command Controll and The Arcade stick's.

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.

I bought some "as-is" video cards today.

X1950 Pro - Haven't tested yet.
Radeon 7200 SDR - Works perfectly
Radeon 7500 64MB - Works Perfectly
Chaintech (I think, it is completely unbranded) Geforce4 mx440se - Slapped an MSI heatsink on it and it works great and overclocks very well.
Matrox Millennium - No output. Windows does recognize it.
Radeon 9800 Pro - Artifacting issues.

I also got 2 socket 939 CPUs to troubleshoot a motherboard and a Microsoft force feedback joystick.

Just got my second DEAD Radeon 9800 Pro. Man I don't think many of these cards are in working condition given my luck. Both the sellers claimed they were tested and working perfectly. They arrived in antistatic bags and bubble wrapped outside of that so I think they were broken prior to shipping.

Same thing happened with a 9800XT I bought for $25. The stick indicated it was last tested in 2012. Makes me wonder if it had just been sitting in someone's inventory that whole time and then a reseller bought them out and listed it.

I just ordered this beauty today for 43€ (20€ + 23€ shipping)

Apparently that's a pentium machine with Asus TX97-E, 64MB of ram and what seems to be an AWE64 gold 😀

I'm not really intested by the pentium par (I have more than enough AT socket 7 boards), but rather by the case and the sound card ^^ (though the case will need a proper power switch, as you can see the one being there currently is loose because the original broke)

The Midiman WinMan I got from Ebay arrived, but the seller simply wrapped the box in packing paper. No padding whatsoever. Fortunately it was not crushed and seems to be okay.

It is my understanding that the winman only works under a windows environment.
Please update when you test it, I am curious.

It can work under DOS, but only with specially developed drivers. One is included for Cakewalk for DOS, and I plan to try to decompile it...

$1200? That smells like bullshit to me. I can see $120, MAYBE, but $1200?

Indeed, sounds quite high for me. Bute the value is difficult to estimate. Only found one sold item

https://www.ebay.de/itm/AdLib-Music-Synthesiz … =p2047675.l2557

But this seems to be a buy-at-once offer therefore the price might have been to low.

what I really meant was DOS gaming 🤣
yes the cakewalk driver is advertised on the box , I suspect though it will heavily rely on cakewalk itself.
Please report on the windows driver when you test it, maybe it adds full mpu401 functionality similar to what softmpu does.

Have you tried rubbing down that Millenium in alcohol yet? I did that to my Radeon X1950XT that would not display and it was not recognized in Windows and driver install would fail. After rubbing the whole board in rubbing alcohol with a q tip, it works perfectly.
