There were Geforce 3 TI500 with 128mb of vram?

Yes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nvidia_g … GeForce3_Series

Oh ok, i thought their maximum was 128 mb but i didn't knew they were ever made..Although...that chart also states APG\PCI bus, but i have never seen a pci Geforce 3. But if you have a 128MB ti500 than that's a given. I must get one myself now, i only ever seen ti200 with 128mb.

Didn't buy it, I pulled it out of the trash last night on my way home from work. Works great but only does 640x480, picture looks fantastic though. 😁

Sweet. And so strange to see one so clean and white. Not even grime in the corners. It's like it's fresh-baked.

maybe not?

DUDE you hit the JACKPOT! That's a 0.39mm tube right there. http://pbclub.pwcsite.com/PBInfo/PB%20Info%20 … 537SOVW.asp.htm

It looks identical to my Hewlett Packard. And it's made in Korea too, so it might even be the same thing. In that case it's really a Samsung 😀

Thanks, yeah it was certainly a lucky find. 😁

I couldn't believe how clean it was either, I mean I did scrub it a little before taking the pictures but it basically looked exactly like this when I found it. Just had a light layer of dust.

Hmm when I tried to run it at 800x600 it went all funky but hell maybe it's because I'm using a KVM. I should try it without the KVM and see what happens. 😁 Thanks for the info.

Naw I just tried again and it really doesn't like 800x600 or 1024x768

Edit: Okay, hopefully everything is now as close to 100% correct as they can be.

800x600 at 60Hz, 1024x768 at 50Hz or 1024x768 interlaced at 87.5Hz ought to work.

edit: wait the horizontal max is only 35.5kHz. That'll be 56Hz at 800x600 then... might be painful.

Possibly useful, this page says use PB8528SVGL in W95.
http://pbclub.pwcsite.com/PBInfo/PB%20Info%20 … monitor.asp.htm

this page has some drivers squirreled away, but I'm not seeing 8537 in there.

worth perusing though.

Is my Samsung CVL4955 a 0.39 tube too? I can't seem to find any information about it on the web. Could it be a sibling of yours and King_Corduroy's?

Sure looks that way. Your samsung and my Packard Bell monitor look identical. Could you maybe try and take some pics of it from the some angles I did? Also, does your power button get stuck some times? Mine is really hard to press in at times.

Nah, I got one 😀

Really? I guess it makes sense that a PCI Trio 3D exists, since it barely uses the AGP capabilities anyway, but I never saw one. The one in the picture above is still AGP though 😜

There's actually quite a lot of them 😀 Makes double sense since it remained a lowest-end bestseller probably until the days of Vanta/M64 and with PCI you could install them into then outdated Pentium as well as systems with absent/glitchy AGP.

Well, I received the Toshiba T1200 I ordered today (at last):

K0GqtwZl.jpg

It's supposed to work, but the moment I plugged the power supply into the wall, there was a loud bang and now the power supply is dead (it's supposed to work on 240V and the seller was in the UK, so it wasn't due to that.) Thankfully, it wasn't plugged into the T1200 at the time, but I know it's not just a fuse in the plug, because I tried a different one to check, and nothing. Just my luck. It has two floppy drives, and also came with the DOS floppy (and that I know does work, because my Vaio PCG-FX601 was able to boot off of it). So now begins the hunt for a replacement PSU that doesn't cost more than the Earth.
