Do people really need RGB RAM?

I only got my RGB RAM because it was the cheapest of the speed I needed at the time 🙁

I would pay a premium to buy non rgp at this point..

Bought an OZC ModStream 520W PSU--new, but circa 2004--for the 5V rail: 52A, with 260W when combined with 3.3V.

5V: +6%,over tolerance 😵
3.3V: +3%, okay
12V: -4.16%, okay
5VSB: +4%, okay
-12V: -0.83%, okay
PG: +14% over recommended 😵

I'm not sure if I'll test this under load, or just consign it to the dustbin of history. What do you think?

The voltages will drop under load anyway. It is normal for no load to have slightly higher voltages.

I'd pop it open and check out the caps just in case. My OCZ GameXStream 700W died after several years of use due to a few swollen caps.

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

Caps can be replaced and decent supplies will shut down when output goes out of spec before you blow something up in side the supply or connected to it (repairable).

I bought this yesterday and It arrived today. I'm thrilled with it to say the least. Really feels like a piece of nostalgia!

Sound Blaster 2.0 CT1350B in OEM Packaging. I can't say I have seen this packaging before for this card, always seeing the Black Box packaging with a picture of the card on the front. It includes both the 3.5" and 5 1⁄4" Installation discs along with a Hardware/Software feature catalogue. It even has the receipt dated 28/07/92 for £45. The Card is the CT1350B with the CT1366 chip so i presume is good for the CMS upgrade (which is mentioned in the hardware catalogue.)

Overall really really happy!

You'll want to test under load for voltage and ripple. Hook up dummy loads so you don't have to use real hardware. But seeing these OCZ power supplies makes me miss my OCZ PowerStream 600w. It had adjustable rails on it with pots on the rear of the power supply. I need to look for one of those again.. 😎 If I remember right though, these OCZ power supplies weren't all that great with accurate voltage and ripple at high loads. Some higher quality capacitors would definitely help with ripple under load.

ATI Video Xpression+ (Mach64 VT, 1 MB)
Interestingly the box is considerably bigger than its predecessor. This seem to mark the transition from ATI's rather small boxes up until 1996 to the new bigger ones in late 1996.

I've bought Toshiba Portege 3020CT yesterday for about 11EUR / 13USD. I already own 3110CT and 3480CT, but each with some quirks. This one is in perfect condition (seriously, I was surprised at how clean and unscratched it was) and has OPL3 soundcard. I intend to use it for DOS games.

In great condition only BIOS battery empty.

Nice finds 😀
Don't forget to check if the BIOS batteries are leaking.
