ABIT VH6T is working. Now I'm a happy owner of 2 good tualatin motherboards.

MSI have ISA (usually) and more space between AGP and PCI.

Preproduction CUV266 boards had both memory types (SDR and DDR), empty space above was reserved for SDR slots.

P.S.
Now I'm wondering if CUV266 is one the fastest boards for PIII.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

What is with the backward offset PCI slot? 😕

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

That's an ACR (Audio/Communications Riser) for modems, sound card peripherals (SPDIF), etc.

I think it is an ACR: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Communications_Riser

That C64 is looking pretty cool - I remember seeing a similar one on youtube albeit the user built it himself.
I prefer the slimmer model in darker colors and the breadbin in beige. The coolest one being the ALDI version with the green LED.

Maybe if it was FX5950 Ultra, or GF 6800 Ultra, but 6200....
Maybe someone will find it useful, i find more useful to spend 7$ on Radeon x1950 Pro, or 0$ on Radeon HD 3850 AGP (can`t calculate the exact price, as was trade, but is something like that..) or 5$ for 7 Voodoo video cards from what 5 of them was working...

I agree. Such low-end cards do not enjoy widespread appeal.
I almost bid on it because I want to play Need For Speed: High Stakes (a DirectX 6.1 game) on my TV using a Windows 98 PC, and my Voodoo3's S-Video output doesn't seem to be working. Instead of bidding on this GeForce 6200, I'm going to try a GeForce FX 5200 (with 128-bit memory) that a friend gave me. It should be good enough.

We are really NOT supposed to be posting eBay sales on here anymore. The eBay deals thread was closed.

Am I the only one who thinks that STX and Radical Vision is the same person? Perhaps our old porn buddy under another account trying to provoke mods on locking this thread?

Sorry, I am not Radical Vision. I was just trying to be helpful to anyone who's interested in solving a problem similar to mine. I won't post auction links (or commit my earlier sin, necroposting) again.

Purely out of curiosity - I do not sell on eBay nor do I intend to post eBay links - but why are we not supposed to be posting eBay auctions here?

It's Valentine's Day and I'm in love:

full.png

2nd hand, but so little used that there's still texturing on the buttons. I have two already, but #1 is a wreck (one button missing, PCB seems to have had more coffee than is good for it), #2 is my old warhorse, but after the better part of a decade in constant use it's loose and alarmingly fragile-looking. Now I'm set for the next decade - or at least a good part of it 😎

Someone was a whiny bastard that the eBay thread was forced closed and he decided to plot revenge by posting racy, graphic (I'm very squeamish), and racist photos, including GIFs on either the threads or PMing people left and right. I would report to the moderators and admins of this site about the $#!% the person posts on here.

I think I found the official answer here:

Qbix wrote:

Please stop with all those for sale and for trade topics.

Especially if things go wrong, then we can't do a thing to help you....

Dominus wrote:

I don't think our moderators want to moderate a selling forum. Don't forget they are partly the devs of dosbox. They need to spend their time better than lokking whether a seller is a commercial one or not....

Qbix wrote:

It's not a (legal) responsibility that the site should have to carry. Waving it away with some sort of disclaimer, might help a bit, but I doubt that it will cover all cases.
So far the transactions have gone well. I think only one went wrong (that I know of).

I agree with the points that the stuff sold on vogons might have a more reasonably price, get a better home and such. However, as tempting as it might seem, vogons is not designed nor intended to handle sales and disputes.

Let me give some background (as I was the one who created the Ebay thread and also became a mod after it was closed).

The Ebay thread was borderline on the no trading rule, but it was accepted to stay open after some rules were set. The rules were simple, don't promote your own auctions and no trading. Over the years there were always more drama in the Ebay thread than anywere else on the forum. It still stayed up. Then some members were caught promoting their own auctions by having others posting on their behalf and there were people using the Ebay Partner system to drive traffic to certain auctions. All this combined snowballed into the thread being closed by Qbix. For some this was taken very personally and we had several "attacks" of revenge as mentioned by bjwil1991.

Ebay links are OK as long as the auction is finished, also we allow links in the Humour Thread: Outrageously priced retro gear for sale online as long they meet the criteria for the thread. Ebay links on active auctions should not be posted to avoid drama and sales promotion. That is the policy for the time being.

Got it. We should be careful when doing something like this. I do check eBay to see what's on sale, and sometimes, I will post a link (not on here due to policies that are set) if someone's interested (again, not on this site). If someone wants to make money, he/she/it (bots) should post links in another forum site, like Vintage Computer Federation, AmiBay, or any other site as buying/selling/trading on this site is prohibited.
