I'd rather have an adlib/clone for one of them but I keep missing out on the ones on Amibay, I count myself lucky I got the Sound Blaster 2.0 from you 😀

Nice! Got 2 of them as well apparently(?) from the same seller some time ago - have not tried them yet though. Hear back and tell your thoughts after you've tried it and hope it's working - at least mine were made in Japan and seemed like a quality build.

Finally got my Intel DX4 with write-back cache. Going to rebuild my VLB rig (currently using 5x86) around it.

Obviously, there are different models, 64M and 32M, and different RAM manufacturer available:

http://pcbonto.hu/portal/static/upload_apro/2 … 22144_orig0.jpg

In case of the test version from ixbtlabs.com, there are single sided up to 8 RAM chips (EtronTech) onboard.

If there are only 4 with a different shape, it depends if they are single sided (32M version) or double sided (64M version) onboard.

#1 K6-2/500, #2 Athlon1200, #3 Celeron1000A, #4 A64-3700, #5 P4HT-3200, #6 P4-2800, #7 Am486DX2-66

Another oddball item arrived. New old stock IEI SAGP-865EV PT industrial SBC from with IEIs proprietary PCIAGP arrangement. Where the ISA slot sits on normal PICMG1.0 SBCs is here replaced by AGP. Backplanes had PCI and AGP, but also with ISA with a IT8888F bridge board. A 9 slot backplane is also on its way.

Picked up a socket 7 in a baby AT case today at the recycler.

Pentium 200MMX
32MB (EDO?) RAM
FIC VA-503+ motherboard (Super socket 7, w/100MHz FSB and AGP support)
S3 Virge graphics
ESS 1938 SB-link, NIC, modem, etc
Had 2 HDDs (had to remove, rules of the recycler)

For those Canadians here, it would appear The Bay sold computers! Apparently this was assembled by a local company, and then sold at The Bay.

Also, saw the case of the first new computer I ever bought. Didn't get it cause I have no space, but now I have a photo. So that's... a thing.

Ok, so admittedly I TOTALLY Artex'd this one.. But, a near-mint Boxed Ensoniq SoundScape Elite. I traded my second boxed version away a while back for a my boxed Ad Lib Music System so now I'm back up to two of these boxed beauties! This one just needs a little minor dusting but everything else is pristine. The original owner really took care of this thing and took extra care when packaging this for the long journey from Japan. 😎 😎 😎 😎

Not that I have any kind of special/nostalgia attachment to The Bay, but if I found that on a PC case I would probably leave it as-is haha. Nice find!

Yeah, I had no idea these existed. Pretty cool.
