According to the seller it is new and indeed there are almost no signs of usage.

I really like the box art! Awesome dragon. 😀

I bought an Everex EGA card that appeared to be brand new in package last year:
What retro activity did you get up to today?

New old stock stuff from the 80s is really neat IMO. The simple but artistic style of the box-art from years ago reminds me of all the stuff that was around when I was a kid in late 80s to early 90s (wasn't new then, but was still around!).

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

I'm totally with you and that Everex EGA card box looks delicious. I'm currently awaiting delivery of an Everex VGA card with manual and driver disks but without box. And then there is a complete in box Orchid Fahrenheit 1280 Plus which should arrive soon. Will post pictures then.

Got an SC-88 Pro off of eBay for a decent price. It's mainly for music production, but of course I'm gonna have some fun using it with games. 😜

I heave heard that you like PC Chips so here are some more PC Chips stuff so you can complain while you are complaining!

I couldn't resist and bought yet another PC Chips motherboard a while ago and the package arrived yesterday.

The package included 1x PC Chips M560 "TX Pro" + 1x Cyrix 6x86MX 200+ CPU + 32MB 72pin EDO memory (no cables or brackets but plenty of bent headers).

The motherboard seems to work just fine.

Also seen in the picture are 10x Pentium 233 MMX + 12x random 486 CPUs, they are also "new" and did also arrive yesterday. Both the motherboard bundle and the lot of CPUs are from Spain but from different sellers.

In random order:

Asus P5A rev 1.04 (thank you fellow Vogon-er)

AMD K5 PR133 (don't know why, but I love 'gold' CPU's

And these Adlib-branded PC speakers, I had the same ones (only taller) for a long long time in the past. They sound okay-ish. I still like the looks!

Oh boy. Just got this pair of board+CPU combos for a very reasonable price.

Abit IS7-E with a mystery CPU. As far as I can tell, this is one of the best 865PE boards out there... and that's the perfect base for an all encompassing XP, 98SE + DOS system. I believe this should provide DDMA support for sound cards that have this feature.

And this K7V... I almost peed myself when I read the model number on the top of the CPU. How often do these turn up? This CPU was the winner of the GHZ battle between AMD and Intel. I remember those days. I settled for an Athlon Slot A 750 and a Tyan Trinity K7 at the time... similar KX133 board to the K7V but had an ISA Slot. I'm pretty sure my combo was around $550 back then. I'm guessing this combo was closer to $1000 at that time. Yikes. 😵

Given the absurdly high end nature of this setup, I'm hoping there's an Extreme Edition CPU with the IS7-E. 😁

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

Wow that is a coincidence, this hardware is coming out a case that I bought very cheap. The owner bought/build it in 1998 and never changed it.
The PC case had a mitsumi 8x, writer, 36x aopen cd-rom, Pentium ii 300 mhz etc. All date correct hardware.
