That was one great scrap lot btw, I sort of miss my SB 2.0, I think it went in the bin back in the day.
Fortunately I found the missing fan kicking around in the box. After a bit of cleaning and borrowing two screws from the other fan, I re-mounted it to the heatsink. It's still spinning and not even very noisy, so I have no idea why the previous owner removed it in the first place. Maybe he just needed the screws...
