I have the same Gigabyte board. It's very good, I like it a lot, but the CPU socket is just at the worst place possible.
I wanted to use it for a Voodoo+Matrox Milllennium combo, but only one of the PCI slots could take a card that long. I had to go and find a short enough Mystique.

I bought one of them last night for $20. It's untested, and it won't reach me for a while, but it'll be my only TX board.

I have also GA-586TX2, differences seems to be minimal. At least T2 has 75 FSB while TX2 maxes at 66.
When I was young we had 586T2+233MMX which has been recycled long time ago. Now I have found exactly the same new boxed case and ready to build a replica.

I bought one of these things, on eBay and from a seller in Ireland, for my Commodore64 machines. (sellers picture)

And I have bought yet another RGBtoHDMI adaptor for my Amiga collection. This time version2 that are an universal OCS/ECS adaptor, controlled by a jumper. That way, it can be used for all machines with DIP socketed Denise. It can still not display the higher resolutions that ECS provides. However none of them were used for the old 1985 to 1992 games at all. It also eliminates flicker on interlaced screenmodes. For the price. This is the absolute best solution for modern display on the Amiga. Just use the lowest smoothing filther, and you get a good result without any screen lag whatsoever that the naked eye can detect.

Yes, I have been looking very long for a PGC card to fire the PGC input of my EGA-Monitor. However, as far as I can see, this one seems not to be suitable as it displays 1024x800 pixel and not 640x480 as the IBM PGC does.

Anyway, very nice card.

Very cool! I've never seen a PGC or a clone of one for sale anywhere in the ~5 years I've been actively looking for retro PC stuff. They are quite unique looking. 😀

Sorry to hear it doesn't work with your display (IBM 5154 I assume?). Might want to post over at vcfed, just in case someone knows more about it. That's the kind of hardware that's probably more well known in non-gaming focused circles.

Its not a IBM 5154 but a Thomson EGA Monitor with analog PGC input. I am already waiting 30 years to connect something there 😁

Tracking numbers from China are generally useless. Most them work only within China and once they reach the international distribution center they go missing until you find them in your PO box.

As for how reliable Chinese CPUs are, I hope you have an expendable testing board. I once ordered a 3.2GHz Northwood which killed the motherboard I was planning to use it with.
That's how I ended up with this Prescott+AsRock in my early-to-mid era XP build as a replacement.
Another time a Q8200S which initially worked well for a couple of days, but then killed 2 boards.

So I'd recommend testing it for 1 or 2 weeks before you put it into its final place.

Thanks. Though my catalogue there is severely out of date. There were changes in most of the PCs. For example the Katmai PC more or less became a refurbished HP Vectra Vei8 with some minor upgrades, the P2 also got a case, the Tualatin build got a Sound Blaster SB0100 and recently a case. Some things are also missing. I'm really lazy to update.

I got some nice deliveries in today 😀
The K6-2+ was inside a junk Sony laptop that had fallen to pieces in every other aspect so no shame in dismantling that.
The Reveal SC100 - or the Aztech Sound Galaxy BX II is pretty nice too, I've yet to plug that into a computer just yet though. It's got a cooked trace on one of the joystick pins, I wonder what caused that?
