Nope, that's PAS16 drivers, not PAS. Rumours are, though, that PAS16 drivers work with PAS cards; however, I didn't test that.

Just so you know, you can probably plug in newer (Faster) hard drives into those promise cards and they'll usually interface as a 8.1 GB and you can get some decent speedy drives into a 486 system. Mine accepted a 40GB, 7200 rpm 8MB buffer drive and it's nice and fast, even though I can only use 8GB of it. The speed is nice.

Also, when I get my flatbed scanner going, I will scan the original documents and disk scans and upload them as well.

bristlehog, mscdex.exe is a standard DOS CD driver.

It's a Western Didigtal Paradise PEGA1A, very common. I've got one PEGA1A and one PEGA2A.

Wow, if you even use one of those KVMs fully you'll have a lot of PCs. I can't imagine all 3 chained together 🤣

I most likely will never use all three together, but I am planning on using two of them to connect over a dozen PC's and maybe an amiga and ATARI ST (and one mac g5 😵 ) and have 2 spare ports ready to use for testing purposes or for anything else I may plan to add to my "ultimate" setup later (this may include a Sega Dreamcast that I have with VGA out)...this is my planned line-up so far (it's always changing though)....

1. Tandy 1000 TL/2 - DOS 3.3 or 5.0
2. AMD386SXL-25 - DOS 7.1
3. AMD386DX40 - DOS 7.1
4. i486DX2/66 or AMD486DX4-100 - DOS 7.1 & Win 3.11
5. Pentium 75 - DOS 7.1 & OS/2 Warp 3.0
6. Pentium 166 MMX - Super Socket 7 - DOS 7.1 & OS/2 Warp 4
7. PII-400 440LX - DOS & Win98SE
8. PIII-1.0GHz 815ee - DOS & Win98SE & WinME
9. P4 3.2 GHz P4P800 - DOS & Win98SE & Win2000
10. Core 2 Duo (e8400 3.0GHz) - WinXP SP3
11. Core 2 Duo (e8500 3.2 GHz) - Win 7
12. ATARI ST (moded VGA out?) - uses 15kHz output (I have a scan doubler which I will use for this to make VGA output compatible)
13. AMIGA 500 (using VGA to AMIGA connector for video) - uses 15kHz output (I have a scan doubler which I will use for this to make VGA output compatible)
14. Apple Mac G5 Tower with Ati X800 XE AGP - OS X
15. for testing or SEGA Dreamcast with VGA out
16. for testing

The third KVM may be used in a separate room to connect even more retro rigs...but I am not sure about that yet 😐

Wanted to move my DB50XG from the Socket 7 machine to the MX300 in my Socket A machine... that removes the reason to have the YMF card in there. Plus it's another card to test with SoftMPU and was relatively cheap... £20ish.
