Being quite new to this forum, but enjoying it very much, I thought I would post this request here. Hopefully there is someone who can help.

Thanks to a friend and colleague who is an electronics engineer, I now know that the DA-converter on my Roland SCC-1 soundcard is defective 🙁 . The card was working when I got it a few weeks ago, but apparently I was not careful enough when cleaning it. I think ESD killed the DAC, so there is no sound coming from the card anymore. Further testing revealed that the rest of the card is still in working order however.

In order to fix the card, I need a new DAC. The part number for the DA-converter is NEC uPD6376. If anyone knows of a (reliable) source where I might obtain one, please let me know. Any help is appreciated.

If anyone has a defective SCC-1 (that might have a working DAC) and they are willing to sell it, please respond too.
