Never had one myself but i think they were comparable to a Geforce 4 MX in most cases 😉

It seems the Xabre specs are similar to a Geforce 4 Ti4200... but the performance is nowhere near as good. That GPU comparison site is good for checking specs and theoretical performance but does not indicate real world performance.

Nice reviews! Especially the ixtlabs reviews. I prefer more information in one page than going page after page, each after reading a paragraph or two.

I didn't know much about these Xabre cards till now! I would have preferred SiS cards getting the opportunity to embed it's graphics components, rather than those intel ones. At least, it should have entered the OEM market like S3's 64v+ cards era.
