I just DL'd FRAPS v. 1.9D, for Win9x. I ran it, but it did not display any FPS value when I ran Deux Ex. Also, it did not perform any .txt file logging. I am using a Voodoo5 5500 card. Does it only work with nVidia and ATI cards? Thanks for any help.
Solved! It now works. I reinstalled the Voodoo5 driver. Previously, I think the Amiga Merlin driver was not 100% successfully installed. I think a registry entry was mixed up with a previous Amiga Merlin installation for a previous 3dfx card; a Voodoo3. Now, with an alternative driver installed - the reference driver from 3dfx, the system appears to be behaving more normally. I can now see the FRAPS FPS value in the screen when I run 3D software, eg 3DMark and games.
