(The names in bold are those I know that are available.)

I can see from http://www.gaby.de/win3x/edrivers.htm, the drivers for Windows 3.1x.

Does anyone know of any other drivers for the above video cards available for Windows 3.x?

And does anyone have the said drivers?

I'm trying to collect the drivers for these.

Also, I'll be grateful if anyone can share experiences regarding the above chipsets, with regards to their performances and compatibility with Dos games and also, the clarity of fonts and colour intensity in Windows 3.1x?

Thanks for any help!

Do you need to run windows 3.0 ? I ask that beause if you say 3.1x I suppose it includes both 3.1(3.10) and 3.11. By the way, on my 286 I have windows 3, and a trident 8900 card, and I thought I should try to install win 3.1 drivers I already had, but I just couldn't. There was not an option "have disk" in the video card list. So I guess for win 3 the drivers should have an installation program, too.

You can't use 3.1 drivers for 3.0, they're different. Have you tried: infos and drivers

GL1zdA wow thanks! Great collection of drivers! I didn't have too many hopes with win 3.1 drivers, but I thought I should give it a try just in case..

EDIT : Thanks to that link, I finally found win 3 drivers for that old trident card. As it described in the readme, you have to choose driver from disk using the dos-based setup of windows. So it's ok, I can have vga resolution with 256 colors, or 800x600 with 16colors, but in the end I switched back to vga 16 colors.. It was a significant difference in speed when using higher resolution or more colors. And anyway, I'm not going to really use this version on windows on this machine. I just wanted to have as many versions running in various pcs, just for historical reasons. 😀
