There's one seller at ebay who still has new AT cases. All in new condition. http://stores.ebay.com/PC-R-PRO-INC/COMPUTER- … 14.l1581&_pgn=2

Shipping will be an issue, but if you're ready to pay, the seller will gladly do so.

I bought 3 from the seller (2 desktop styles, one tower style) - the shipping was (*gulp* ...don't ask) but he will send you, and he just charges the actual USPS cost. Nothing extra. (Other sellers will think twice before sending items like these AT computer cases, half-way across the world.)

He even has BLACK AT cases -

*head explode*

Barring the black paint job, that's the EXACT case my dad's first 386 machine came in! Want want want!

But shipping to Australia makes it not worth it... *cries in a corner*

Well how much is the shipping?

You only live once. Some chicks buy 300 AUD pair of shoes. I guarantee that you (we) will have more fun with the AT case 🤣

That black AT tower is fan-bloomin-tastic! Not sure if my girlfriend would appreciate me spending £££ on shipping an old computer case halfway around the world when I'm supposed to be saving for our summer holidays in Italy!

Hah a black AT case, first I've ever seen one. That's definitely something to add for a retro rig though. If I hadn't sent mine to e-waste two years ago I probably would have gone ahead and sold it to anyone here. It was a full-tower with a 250 watt PSU too.

GUIs and reviews of other random stuff

Are these cases being manufactured? Or are they all just old stock?

I think I'd have more fun with the girl in the $300 shoes. 🤣

As Malik said, shipping will be a pain, but if you just want a ridiculously awesome AT case... http://cgi.ebay.com/10-BAY-FULL-TOWER-SERVER- … =item51939ec0fd

The only problem with that is, to fill all 10 bays with drives you'd need a pretty strong power supply. How many watts is even the best AT PSU capable of and would one still be capable of putting out that wattage after all these years without needing a complete rebuild?

I don't think there would be demand for new cases being manufactured (except fom a bunch of retro crazies like us). They're most likely from an old stash that never sold when they were new.

They still make 400W AT power supplies http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?It … N82E16817338025

But your best bet is an adapter for an ATX power supply off ebay

Eek... I'd put considerably more trust into a random untested AT supply dug out of a junk box than I would a brand new Athena unit. And I highly doubt that thing will put out anywhere close to 400W... at least not for more than a minute or two.

When I saw the back of the PSU (and particularly the fan grill), it instantly reminded me of Powmax

Funny you should say that... Athena and Startech PSUs are usually made by Sunpro, who are very closely related to Leadman, Powmax, Chiefmax, Raidmax, and Powsun... probably a few others I can't think of at the moment. They're kinda like the PCChips of powersupplies.
