I seem to have messed up my os installation, I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this without reinstalling anything.

My system has nt4, 95 and dos6.22. I have these on the boot.ini menu [I added dos6.22 but it doesn't work, I guess it needs a bootsect file?]. nt4 is installed to my d: drive, the others are on c:.

The install order would have been dos6.22, then 95, then nt4.

nt4 works fine.

95 runs but I can't get the 3c905 to work with any drivers [and I recall these cards being a pain a long time ago so it's probably 95 drivers as they are great in 98/2k/nt4].

dos6.22 will not boot from boot.ini, but i can get to it by selecting 95 and then press f8, previous ms-dos version. Runs fine then.

Is there anything I can do to get dos6.22 working from the boot.ini menu?

I have some old papers somewhere on how to do this but thought someone might have an answer to hand 😀.

Hi,
I don't read it because I got no time, but maybe you'll find some useful information here to get your DOS working correctly.
