Hello, I have a 8.4GB hard disk for use in the M919. The problem comes when i try partitioning this disk in FDISK without LBA enabled, it only shows 528MB instead of 8.4GB, when i enabled LBA Mode in bios, the PC gets stuck at the Primary Master:LGS- Samsung SV0844

Note:Without LBA enabled all works fine but i can use only 528MB of 8.4GB

Sounds like you've hit the Int13h hard disk size limit. You can read about it on this site:

You could try enabling LBA and manually changing the CHS settings to artificially limit the size of the drive to less than 8GB.

What OS are you using with this?

If you are squeamish, don't prod the beach rubble.

Thanks! It worked, i changed the chs setting from 16380 to 16300 and installed Windows 95B very well without a few MBs
