I have a Hitachi hfd532eiu floppy drive!

It is a 2.4MB drive that reads 1.2MB allso.

How the hell does this work, i have nener heard of a 2.4MB only a 2.88MB 3 1/2 drive. And i have never seen a motehrboard BIOS that supports it.

I have one of those too including the original adapter to connect it to a terminal... that's actually what those drives were built for. I had it in one of my "floppy machines", but took it out because none of my motherboards could properly use it (had to use a special DOS program that I can't find now to enable 2.4MB formating).

What terminal?

I am aroused about any X86 motherboard that has full functional ISA slot. I think i have problem. Not really into that original (Turbo) XT,286,386 and CGA/EGA stuff. So just a DOS nut.
PS. If I upload RAR, it is a 16-bit DOS RAR Version 2.50.

I've never owned the terminals myself but if I recall correctly it was one of these IBMs: http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-3174-61R-Coaxial- … E-/380379106547

I hope this helps you.
