I managed to find more Cirrus Logic 5480 Win9x drivers. I don't have an account, so if anyone can please upload them if they're ok.

Honest question: Do these drivers have any advantage over these drivers?

I don't know. I just thought maybe older versions are also archived. These weren't that straightforward to find. If they don't belong there, that's fine.

That's for the Laguna 3D card, not 5480.

I uploaded the drivers here: https://www.vogonsdrivers.com/index.php?catid … 7&menustate=9,1

I was just asking because I try to highlight the possible use case for the driver in the name, so that people don't have to play driver roulette when they download.

No better way to screw up your windows build than to install a bunch of conflicting drivers.

What does the "DDC-VPM" stuff mean?

As for DDC, maybe it's related to this:

We have some new driver categories:
Home-->Storage-->Optical -- CD-ROM, DVD, BluRay, etc
Home-->Graphics-->WesternDigital -- It's paradise and then some
Home-->Other HW-->Monitors -- for monitor INF files
Home-->Other HW-->RAM (EMS/XMS) -- for Memory Expansion Boards, EMS and XMS drivers
Home-->Other HW-->OemSystem -- for those bulky full system driver sets that only apply to a specific OEM system

I'll start moving stuff over to those areas in the next few weeks.

Here are two collections I did:

The first one is every driver for MediaGX I could find: video, audio, IDE for Win9x, Win3.x, NT 3.51 and NT4. If anyone has a driver not present here, please let me know — particularly anything for DOS, Win 3.1 or OS/2 https://www.mediafire.com/file/r7apg68f72drcj … EDIAGX.ZIP/file

The second one is a collection of EMS drivers, both for motherboards and RAM cards. I haven't finished it, but I figure it might be useful — it includes quite a bit of stuff from various archives.https://www.mediafire.com/file/kx86dlrzd4vy91q/EMS.ZIP/file

I put the MediaGX stuff here: https://www.vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fil … 152&menustate=0

I'll probably break up the EMS stuff by card and board so that it is easier to find if that's OK

Here's the Innoventions SIMCHECK II latest firmware 1.55 (official firmware file, as well as ROM dumps), along with an unzip-and-run version of the comms software for Win95 and up (because its installer doesn't work on 64-bit Windows, but the app itself does).

The driver found here seems to be a good candidate: Need help downloading a driver from a chinese website

It's for the Voodoo based Skywell Magic 3D & Plus. The INF file refers to it as Magic3D 3D Drivers V.4.0a(Glide & D3D).

This is where it originally came from, although the link is dead over there: https://web.archive.org/web/19990225100005/ht … m/drivers.shtml

Nice find ! Yes the Glide3d and OpenGL are slightly newer (the rest appear same.).

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

I don't know how helpful this is but I have a CD from 1994 called "MPC Wizard 3.0" full of multimedia drivers and utilities. I have no idea where I got it from and have never used it. I did a search and it's been mentioned a few times in these forums; have all the drivers been added to the database? I've attached a directory dump.

I'll see if I can catch up on other recent files tonight

I wasn't sure where to put this. It's like an appliance, yes? I put it here:
