So, was going through my giant pile of unorganized CDs and I came across a few installer discs. I checked the driver site, and a couple of these weren't on there. I'm going to upload them when I get home, as I'm at work at the moment.

They are:
Diamond Stealth 3D 4000
Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital

I'll check the exact versions of the discs when I get home too.

Nice one 😁

Erm, kinda slipped my mind. I'll be ripping and uploading them tonight most likely. I've got a couple machines to rebuild so I'll have some background time.

I think anything pre-XP will be useful to upload to vogonsdrivers.

It's the DOS drivers that are in danger of extinction, and to a certain extent, the Win95/98 drivers too. So it might be wise to preserve these, and those having the disks or copies of these drivers may upload them if the said drivers do not exist at vogonsdrivers.

I've uploaded the Gravis drivers to my box.net account. It's a 180MB ISO file, 7zip managed to compress it down to 40MB.
Also includes DirectX 5 and Acrobat Reader 4! 🤣

Here it is: https://www.box.com/s/ynavgwj75yanvnlnqoxv

Could someone upload it to VogonsDrivers for me?

😀

Cool 😀

But I have to point out, and I should have mentioned that, this is not an Ultrasound driver. The Xperience software is a driver for controllers supporting the GrIP protocol, like for example the Gamepad Pro 😀

edit: apparently it's spelled GrIP with a lowercase r, for "Gravis Interface Protocol" I assume.

Just found this:

img4035xv.jpg

And I thought, hey, that might be something for VogonsDrivers!
I tried it out, and it seemed to be still good. Played a bit of Pipe Mania, everything going well so far. So I tried making an image of it... error! unable to read! bad FAT ID! blah blah! abort/retry/ignore! etc, etc...
I ran DIR again, and all files were gone! So what do you do? Run chkdsk of course! "Oh your FAT is a bit broken, lemme fix that for ya...". Still nothing. On a second run, chkdsk says it's b0rked beyond recognition.
Now when I try accessing it, just typing A:, not even DIR or anything, I get the abort/retry/ignore/fail message.

Another floppy bites the dust 🙁

I found some potentially useful things being mirrored at another site. Someone might want to mirror these on the Vogons site in case this site comes down in the future.

Dear SquallStrife, since I came to possess a couple of Ultrasound Classic clones (Primax M16B & M16C) a VOGONS member advised me to upload the "Altra Sound Ultrasound Compatible" CD that came with these.
this one.

Mainly it contains GUS demos, beside the standard drivers and utilities.

Might you allow me to upload it? the .iso image is 148 mb.
Sure I promise not to upload anything offtopic, not appropriate, etc.

The AltraSound CD is identically with the Gravis Ultrasound CD, except that the Altrasound CD misses the Gravis Ultrasound Experience program.

Might be a good idea to capture it anyway, for completeness sake! 😀

Hold on, I'll make an account and PM you the details.
