Could anyone tell my which SB is better? The 1.5 one or the 2.0 one?

No such thing as "Better" 😀

The 1.5 is easier to upgrade to CMS (Game Blaster) and rarer / more valuable. The 2.0 can now also be upgraded to CMS but you need to "create" a third chip with a chip programming device.

IMO the SB Pro 2.0 is "better" than both of them.

You'll have to test and find out for yourself. I prefer the SB Pro 2.0 over both of them. And between the two the 1.5 with CMS chips 😀

But you need to find out for yourself what you prefer.

The problem is, i have both of them here.. And need them for my builds..

My first suggestion was to put in the SB 1.5 in my XT V20 NEC build.. But that card is to long for my motherboard. At the end of the motherboard there are the LED, power, reset Jumpers.. And because the card is to long i cant put the card in the ISA slot, because those jumpers are in the way.. So i was thought about to put the smaller SB 2.0 in.. But i wanted to know which sound better..
Then the card thats sounding better i could use for my next build.. and put the worse card in this XT computer..(with modification if thats needed) Because mostly i should use ADlib only i guess..

In that case I would also use the 2.0 in the XT!

Doesn't sound like you actually have any choice as only the sb2 fits your xt.

The placement of jumpers etc with respect to ISA slots can be frustrating, almost as bad a great big pc case you can't actually fit big cards into because of the welded-in hard drives cages.
