That's a very fast result for a PPro. What o/s are you using? NT4.0? Any overclocking?

Windows 2000 running at stock speed with an Intel motherboard.

my recent test results:
board gigabyte 5ax rev 5.2

initial test without wpcredit tuning, sdram timing 2-2-4-5
onboard cache on
k6-3 450: 6:07
onboard cache off
k6-3 450: 6:13
k6-2+ 450: 6:50(a hefty 10% slower than k6-3)

later i have to disable onboard cache due to agp issues, and used wpcredit to tune sdram timing to 2-2-2-5, and enabled "internal page detection".
k6-3 450 6:00
k6-2+ 550 5:44
k6-2+ 578(105*5.5) 5:29
k6-2+ 630(105*6) 5:26
