I want to find a Video 7 VRAM ISA card.
Not because of performance or image quality or anything, but because of the trippy colour-cycling thing it does while displaying its ROM BIOS message.
Does that make me a strange person?

how bad do you want one? Because if everything goes right, when I finish my rev.2 386 setup I'll have one that I can part with. ^.^
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
Why go for a V7 card?

Hahaha, Leadtek had some pretty colorful ones for their GeForce cards, but still doesn't compare to the above.

Some of us spend years hunting for one particular part or another. The trick is keeping your eyes open. Sometimes they will land in your lap when you least expect it but if you're not paying attention, you'll lose it to another collector.
Save some searches on eBay and one day it will bite 😀
Was Video 7 the only one to have this? I seem to recall a friend having a crappy VGA only clone card with it. I think it might have been a Trident or some other off brand. My original ATI All-in-Wonder has a silly spinning ATI logo. It gets REALLY annoying after rebooting a few times since it needlessly adds 7 seconds to POST.
