Browsing trough some magazines seems that 2001 was the year of transition, but started pickin' up the pace in 2000, while beige was practically dead in the end of 2002. Thanks for all your inputs 😵 I only have one black case and its going for the Athlon XP 2600+ /Geforce4 Ti4200 build 😊

I remember being one of those sad college students who owned an over the top disgusting case! My AMD Duron setup was housed inside an awful looking Dracula case with lots of lights, fangs and doors/flaps etc... I thought it was cool at the time 🙄

Why are you choosing the Ti4200 for that CPU? Wouldn't you be better off with at least a Ti4600, if not an FX5950 or 6800?

Initially it had a antlon xp 2000+, only recently I discovered a mobile version 2600+ , and besides, it is the most powerful card i own except pci-e.
