I've got a Commodore PC 20-III (a XT class 8088 machine, basically the same as the PC10) which I want to equip with a Seagate 8 bit SCSI controller (see attached the picture).

The controller works as it should in a 286 machine, but refuses to work in the Commodore: It does not scan for SCSI disks, it only displays a message asking if it should format the harddisk (even if none is connected) and locks up.

On the mainboard I've set jumper 208 to 1-2 to disable the internal XTA controller, did not help. I played with the jumpers on the SCSI card, wihout any luck.

Got anyone this card working in a Commodore PC10/PC20? Any hints with the jumper settings? Is this an issue with Commodore's BIOS?
