I have an Voodoo Dragon 2 12MB that seems to be faulty, each time i install drivers the system doesn't boot/stops responding.

I have bought an Orchid Righteous 3D 12MB to try and test these two cards in SLi.
My questions are:

1. Orchid card has 8MB of VRAM @ 83MHz, but 4MB of RAM @100Mhz. Why is that and does memory frequency matter in SLi connection?
2. Can i safely hook up these two cards into SLi with out one frying the other?
3. What Voodoo 2 drivers do you recommend?

As far as I know from various PC magazines, at first 3dfx blocked SLI for different revisions and manufacturers cards through drivers perhaps to avoid bad reputation of the most powerful setup while the technology was still raw. Later, as more cards were out and nothing could hurt the selling ratios, the SLI function was turned on for any two Voodoo2s, even with different amount of memory.

So basically you need no special driver, just the latest official version.
