I just visiting computer store that selling old hardware, I saw some old hardware and some was interesting. Here's the old hardware which it will get it tomorrow:

1. Yamaha YMF724E-V Sound Card
This is interesting sound card for me which it give good MIDI support such OPL3

2. NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX (damn, forgot looking the model)
Also it was interesting due it give more performance with bang of bucks.

3. Asus Radeon 9550
Seems low-end video card, is performance good?

4. Asus P4B
A Pentium 4 SDRAM motherboard, how much performance I get when P4 mix with SDRAM?

5. HP OEM LGA775 passive tower heatsink
More interesting for me, but not for retro. It has 3 copper heatpipe.

6. Pentium III PC
Someone on computer store has Pentium III computer but not in the store, so he text me if it arrives. I don't know what is component used.

Which the component should and don't pick?

Geforce MX cards are low-end, I wouldn't bother, unless you are really enthusiastic about collecting.

Do not refrain from refusing to stop hindering yourself from the opposite of watching nothing other than that which is by no means porn.

That is a relatively meaningless question without knowing more about what you want to do with it and what your alternatives are.

The card isn't included in http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/vga-charts-iii,730.html , but Wikipedia indicates that it is sort of close to a 9600. Which isn't very good.

As I see here, you don't actually know what you want or where you want it installed. I suggest you get that P3 and YMF card. That way you get a descent sound card and a retro PC that is already working... You might want to see what games support it and have a nice time rather than hypnotising your Radeon or FX card.

Just got GeForce 2 MX video card, Yamaha YMF724E-V sound card, and AVerMedia AVerTV TV tuner for my HP Vectra VL600. Works flawlessly 😁

BTW, what is good driver for GF2 MX for Windows 98?

If you want to play Quake III with good performance, you do not need a retro machine.

Wait, Quake 3 also playable in my machine! 🤣

Is this video card support Glide wrapper? Is the performance better than Matrox G400? If

And how to overclock GF2MX?
