Does anybody have an updated BIOS for the DTK PKM-0033S E-0?

The BIOS I have is from 12/11/95 with the following revision string:
DTK PKM 0033S.P02.02.05-V2.05

Anyone have any first-hand experience with this board?

Should be an OEM version of 486SPS. Try looking for a BIOS for that.

I tried looking for both, but stuck out. I've had better luck with forum users sharing these long lost BIOS updates. It is also possible that a BIOS update was never released.

Anyone with a DTK PKM-0033S or Gemlight GMB-486SPS have either the original BIOS or some update? Thanks a lot!

I wonder if PKM0033 is the same as PKM33. I'll test it out. Thanks for finding this!

Probably just shortened because of the 8 letter DOS filename limitation. As far as I can tell the DTK models always had 4 numbers PKM-0031Y, PKM-0038S etc.

Unfortunately, that v2.22 BIOS is not for the PKM-0033S or GMB-486SPS. It is for a DTK PAM-0054, which is for a 430FX board.

The reason I want the BIOS update is because I recall the Zita Tomato 4DPS board, which is also SiS 496/497-based, would not recognise 64 MB FPM sticks until I updated that BIOS. I figure the same would apply to this motherboard.

The existing v2.05 BIOS is from December 1995, however this board had chipset dates going to mid-1996, which means there is probably a good chance there was a BIOS update.

I checked all the wayback captures for gemlight and it seems v2.05 was the latest BIOS. I wonder if the GMB BIOS is any different from the PKM BIOS.

There is likely no difference aside from branding. From what I could find on DTK's old sites, 2.05 was the latest for their board too. Was DataExpert still in business in 95-96? They made quite a few GemLight boards, or at least cloned them. Quite a few shared manuals in 93-94.

While its a bit crazy, the 4DPS BIOS might actually work on that DTK board if its the same chipset. I'd try it if I had a backup BIOS chip handy.

I thought about this too, but recalled that when I tried to use the 4DPS BIOS on a 4DPS clone board, that some things didn't work quite right.

Can somebody please upload the PKM-0033S and/or the GMB-486SPS-BIOS(es) again? The link above seems to be dead.

Thank you very much 😀

Since we seem to be on a roll here, would anyone happen to have the latest BIOS (seemingly V3.06) for either the GMB-486SG or its DTK variant PKM-0038S ?
Both of these existed on the previously linked Gemlight website at some point, but my search for them has proved fruitless.

It seems that we have the Gemlight variant in uh19: http://www.win3x.org/uh19/motherboard/show/2600 , not sure if it's v3.06

EDIT: Several months later, I was able to locate V3.05 for GMB-486SG here: http://sannata.ru/bios/486/ROM4DX07.RAR
The BIOS available in UH19 is V3.04 and it the same version that the poster on DOSReloaded was referring to.
I misunderstood his original post, he listed the BIOS string of his current BIOS (V3.04), not the new one he was looking for.
Therefore, I am still on the lookout for V3.06.

I can't read German, but Google Translate suggests the poster is looking for version 3.06 from 1995, while claiming to have 3.04 from 1994.
In any case, thank you very much.
