The board appears to be a lot more fully populated than the typical S20/S23 cards that you see. Has anyone seen one of these before or have any specs on them?

The S23 & S32 boards look sparse because the same PCB can be used to make a Crystal-based S23 or a Creative-based S32.

That S23A on the other hand looks like it's Crystal-only.

I think it's relatively uncommon. Rare? Who knows. The build quality looks pretty good, but it's probably not of much value feature-wise. It lacks the real OPL3 of the S23. Instead it uses Crystal's version of OPL3, which I believe is being provided through that wavetable chip (as the CS4232 doesn't have it integrated)
