I tried diablo2 on my xp box the other day. I noticed that both environmental effects [eax] and 3d sound [needs a3d 2.0] could be selected at the same time. I'm just using onboard SoundMAX drivers.

Never played it on anything so recent before, I guess it might be normal, but on my boxes there's only one or other available depending on the soundcard.

Does diablo2 not need a3d2.0? I thought only vortex2 chips supported it. 😕
