Well, this was a "take it or leave it" moment so i took it, i've been looking for these cards:

Creative Geforce 256 DDR Annihilator Pro
annihilator-pro.jpg

and a Voodoo Graphics (Voodoo 1) along with the passthrough cable
DSCN0078.JPG
(exact model i got)

I was able to get both for 22 euros (around 30.24 dollars). Was this a good price in your opinion?

Also do you think these cards are worthy to keep for a while? I mean will they be real collectibles within 15\25 years?

I always wanted these two cards because each one started something new in the computer graphics industry. Voodoo Graphics start it all actually, and the Geforce 256 was the first "Geforce" video card and the first to have T&L so they could have some historical value eventually in the future!

Odd thing bout the Voodoo Graphics i got, the stamp on the back has 1998 marked with a pen. I though these cards were sold only between 1996 and 1997.

My 2001 gaming beast in all it's "Pentium 4 Williamate" Glory!

I would value those cards at $10 for the Geforce DDR and $20 - $30 for the Voodoo 1 if it looks as nice as the one pictured.
Complete boxed cards would be worth at least the double.

So the price was just right.
Both cards will at least keep their value adjusted for inflation.
The Voodoo 1 was made in huge numbers so altough it was the first really successful 3d card there is an upper limit on its price, even 15 years from now.
The story is somewhat simular with the Geforce DDR.

Unfourtenely none were boxed, but both came in good condition. Only the Geforce 256 DDRs fan was in a bad shape, missing a screw and was quite stuck. I was able to completly disasemble it and relub the bearing, and get a exact replacement for the missing screw. The geforce was already tested and works fine now. I haven't tested the voodoo 1 yet but physically looks great.

I can still get this Geforce 256 SDR for €5

Looks pretty OEM but i'm tempted just for collecting purposes. Would it be worth considering the price?

5 euro sounds fair 😀

You all says its fair, this is really a bargain!!!!! I see those cards going for much higher prices..

Of couse these cards sometimes sell for more if you are not in a hurry to sell.
Some people do not care at all how much they are paying for stuff they want, I do.

At the moment in Sweden a Geforce FX 5900 Ultra has been up for sale for $20(139 SEK ~15 Euro) buyout for a month, no buyers.
A Radeon X1950 XTX has been offered for $30(199 SEK) buyout the same amount of time, no buyers.
A Geforce 8800 GTX 768mb has also been listed the same amount of time at $30 buyout, no buyers.

All of the above cards are just as collectable as the Voodoo 1 or Geforce DDR and just as rare or rather not rare.
These cards can sell for these prices or even more but it can take some time.

Where's the Noooooooo button? If it was an OEM GeForce 256 then $10 might be appropriate because those things are everywhere, but the retail versions aren't that easy to find. The Asus is probably tied with the Elsa as easiest to find but everything else beyond that is pretty scarce. $30 for those two cards is a good price assuming they both work.

I think the prices might differ a bit depending on where you live.
There were lots and lots of first generation Geforce cards sold in Sweden.

In Sweden I think its easier to find a working Geforce 1 than a Geforce 4 ti 4600 in good condition.
I do not really care if the cards are OEM or not if the cards are not boxed, perhaps most people do?

This is a good example how low prices can be in Sweden sometimes (This is extreme though). Boxed working cards.
The unnamed card looks like a Geforce 2 or the Quadro version of Geforce 2.

52 SEK is less than $8.
I think some members here should set up Swedish drop boxes 😁.

edit
I just noticed "International buyers accepted".
Those cards would have been visible if you searched for them in your Ebay searches. Tradera is a part of Ebay 😀 .
Most Swedish sellers do not accept international buyers sadly.

I think i see your point because when i search on ebay for "Creative Geforce 256 DDR Annihilator Pro" i can only get this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/CREATIVE-LABS-3D-BLAS … =item338b007836

This one is going for 16,01 euros plus 10,91 euros for shipping, that's 26,92 euros\37 dollars. And it has two watchers already. I was able to get mine for 7 euros\9,62 dollars. So i can see how this was actually a pretty nice deal!

The prices I posted was of course without shipping 😀.
And perhaps the Creative version is more sought after.

Here is Geforce 256 in that price range, not OEM at least and with tv-out and stuff.

This one was in the USA but I often see them in my searches.
