My MSI K7D Master keeps killing my CPUs on socket 2. 🤣
When i use socket 1 only it works flawlessly, and i checked for damaged components, nothing looks odd nor damaged.
I doubt an motherboard setting would kill the CPU. Plus i did CMOS data clear.

Does this mean i have an damaged socket, damaged power regulator, or simply aliens or some shit? 😵

Have you tried the cpu in a other working board, are you sure it has become dead?

I have got a K7D master from someone with 2x 1800 palomino, at first glance i see all the capacitors are bulged and bad.
A recap should do it probably, or you have a broken high fet, see if it shorts out on leg 1-3 (cpu removed of course)
Seems all capc they used on that board are total bull shit.

A loud BZZZZZZT and the smell of dead electronics is pretty much all i need to be sure its dead 🤣

The caps all look brand new, no bulging, no leakage, no saggy look, they look great. I will check the pins.
