Found this 19" CRT for $5 on Craigslist... figured it was worth a shot. I'm pleasantly surprised at the condition. After a little cleaning, it looks almost brand new.

Some initial impressions:

* Colors are extremely vibrant
* It's bright - much brighter than my old Chuntex
* Still not sure how I feel about aperture grille displays
* Text clarity is not great

The last seems to be a common issue with this type of monitor, but since I will be using it exclusively for gaming, it's not a huge deal.

Any tips regarding setup or maintenance?
