Hello All!
Have this problem. Recently I've installed Audigy Platinum Ex on my retro PC machine, installed drivers from this site (Sound Blaster Audigy Install CD for ME/2000/XP for Windows 98 First Edition and wanna play some dos games which uses midi/wavetable, but stuck with problem. Audigy has IRQ = 9 which cannot be changed, but games uses 3, 5, 7, 10. Can I fix this problem, maybe updating drivers or on Audigy I can't play dos games?

Does your BIOS allow you to assign IRQ's to PCI slots, manually? If so then just assign whatever IRQ you want to the slot the Audigy is sitting in, and see if it cooperates.

Creative PCI cards use one IRQ for the card. In this case, that would be irq 9.
Now for DOS games, the card need to do SB16 emulation. That will require ond aditional IRQ.
Look for it in the device manager. If the card support SB16 emulation it will be there.
Just remember that you have to use two IRQ for this.
