Hi guys. It seems my Packard Bell woes are here to stay. 🤣

I reinstalled Windows 98SE after trying to install a PCI USB card, and for some odd it now thinks I have a 3.5" Floppy drive that isn't there. So it's taking up the A:\ Drive with this phantom drive (Which is not in the bios I should mention) and it has kicked my real 3.5" drive into the B:\ drive which used to be my 5.25" drive and is set up in BIOS as such and my 5.25" drive is now D:\. Anyone ever have this happen before? What the hell is going on? 🤣

I should mention I have taken the PCI card out and returned the system to the way it was.

Check me out at Transcendental Airwaves on Youtube! Fast-food sucks!

Odd... I have a similar issue on my main machine with a USB floppy drive, but I ignore it, as I don't have a floppy in the machine, and actually use a USB floppy drive with it. It often thinks its still there when unplugged, and that is with windows 8.

You may be stuck with it until you plug that USB card back in, why it thought it had a USB floppy attached to it tho, is strange.
Did you plug one in? when it was in the system?
